What is the Gann Residence?
The Gann Residence, located within the Leonard Florence Center for living, provides 24-hour skilled nursing services to individuals in need of residential hospice care.  Specially trained staff at the Leonard Florence Center work collaboratively with the affiliated Dr. Matthew S. Shwartz Hospice and Palliative Care Agency to provide exceptional services for those electing end-of-life care.

Who is Eligible?
- Individuals in need of residential hospice care
- Individuals in need of short term inpatient hospice care

What Forms of Payment are Accepted?
For residential hospice care at the Gann Residence, MassHealth (Medicaid) insurance or private payment can be used to cover the costs for room and board.  Hospice services are covered by Medicare or Medicaid. 

For short term inpatient hospice care at the Gann Residence, Medicare covers the costs of both room and board and hospice services.
